A Walk in the Park has been the flagship event of Parkinson’s WA’s calendar since 2010.  On the 15th of September 2019, people with Parkinson’s, their families and friends and the wider community will come together and participate in a 2km or 5 km walk at the picturesque Perry Lakes Reserve in Floreat. The event raises vital funds that enable Parkinson’s WA to continue to provide the best care to people with Parkinson’s and their family carers in WA. Gate opens at 9.30am and the walk starts at 11am.

Join us at this dog friendly (must be on leash) family event. Fancy dress walkers are most welcomed. It is also a beautiful way to enjoy the day in memory of someone dear to you on this lovely spring day.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Parkinson's WA

Parkinson's WA provides much needed support to more than 20,000 people living with or affected by Parkinson’s in Western Australia. Parkinson's WA is unwavering in our commitment to providing relevant and quality services to maintain the well-being, dignity and quality of life for those diagnosed or impacted by the condition.

Parkinson's is one of the most common and complex progressive neurological conditions in the world and unfortunately there is no cure. Our Parkinson's Nurse Specialist Service, community engagement programs and commitment to research demonstrates that no-one with Parkinson's should be alone.

In this together….
